Fear
I’ve spent my whole life being told what is normal and what is acceptable.
What if I was wrong to listen?
How sad
How sad a life one must lead
to walk this never ending road
with glass shards protruding
from every hole.
This glass was given, you see,
by those that swear to be
pilgrim souls.
We are separated by lies
that have created an
unbreakable
guise.
They build and build
until they reach
the sky….
only to fall
and bury us….
with any trace
or
memory
What might have been
We will be what we could be. Do not say,
“It might have been, had not this, or that, or this.”
No fate can keep us from the chosen way;
He only might who is.
We will do what we could do. Do not dream
Chance leaves a hero, all uncrowned to grieve.
I hold, all men are greatly what they seem;

Of adverse storms that kept thee from the height.
What eagle ever missed the peak he sought?
He always climbs who might.
I do not like the phrase “It might have been!”
It lacks force, and life’s best truths perverts:

Harry Powers
One of the worst paranormal cases I ever had to assist with.
Harry Powers (1931) was from my home town of Clarksburg, West Virginia. He was married and worked as a grocer. He put out adds in the local newspaper, under a false name, searching for a wife. After a few months he finally attracted a widow named Asta who had 3 children. She went missing. The police searched for her and found her body as well as her children in Powers’s yard…
His former home is brimming with energy and activity….it’s truly heart wrenching.
“Inuyasha: [to Kagome, angry at her for saying she believes in him] You are nuts! This sword is good for nothing! Me, I’ll live, I’m half demon. You though, you ain’t got a chance.
Kagome: So I should just, give up hope?
[starts to cry]
Inuyasha: What… what are you doing?
[becomes upset when he sees Kagome crying]
Inuyasha: Are you crying? No crying!
Kagome: [getting angry] Oh, should I laugh?
Inuyasha: No! You should shut up and let me protect you! ”
